Church In Progress

The property, 1451 American Canyon Road, is located about a mile west of the Dwight Eisenhower freeway 80 and is nestled between two large pieces of agricultural land, on the Northern and Eastern side.  New Life Community Adventist Church is in the process of putting up a 12,000 square foot steel building to accommodate 150 members, who meet on Saturdays.

The church is currently renting the Multi-purpose hall from Canyon Oaks Elementary School, which is under the Napa Valley Unified School district in American Canyon, for the last 14 years.

The group began its meetings sometime in 2007 as a group of 20 members, comprising of families and single individuals from all ethnicities represented in American Canyon, and steadily grew over the years. The group progressively put away some money each year to acquire a piece of property, and in September of 2015, was finally able to acquire the 1451 American Canyon Road property. The milestone achievement is a delight to the small yet resilient group looking to further impact the lives of the American Canyon Community. The group sponsored seven Health Expos on preventative health held at the American Canyon High School with a yearly attendance of about 400 people (The 2015 Expo was featured in the Napa Register).

The current membership hovers around 70 to 80 people inclusive of children in attendance equating to 18 cars each week. Ninety percent of members are on the site during the 11 am service.
